Melody Zhang is a passionate professional in the energy industry, who has over 10 years of experience focusing on the design and delivery of enterprise real-time solutions as well as distribution system protection and automation. Melody holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and has a graduate certificate in Power Systems and Smart Grid from University of Houston.

She will be joining Renewable Power Grid Lab at University of Houston in Fall 2025. Melody is currently a senior grid modernization engineer at Eversource and also serves as a committee member of DistribuTech.
