  • Our project entitled “Electrical Grid Congestion: Analysis, Implications and Enhancement” has been selected by NAE Grainger Foundation FOE Grant program.

  • Its official selection was first annouced on the NAE webpage on March 17, 2025.

  • The project funding is $30,000 that will be used solo to cover the salary of a graduate student who will work on this project at UH. The overload is limited to 20% of total fund. This is a collaborative project with Dow a large industry load/consumer to the power grid.
